To provide our services, we collect:

  • Account Information: Handled securely via Clerk (email, name, authentication details).
  • Telegram Meta: Publicly available IDs and usernames from your Telegram profile or channel for access management.
  • Transaction Data: Payment statuses and metadata from M-Pesa and Paystack. We do not store your raw payment credentials or PINs.
  • Usage Data: Basic analytics to improve the platform's performance and design.

3. How We Use Data

We use the data strictly for providing the service: authenticating users, processing subscription access, notifying creators of payments, and providing recovery insights for abandoned subscriptions.

4. Third-Party Services

We work with trusted partners to maintain Swara:

  • Clerk: For identity and session management.
  • Convex: As our primary secure backend/database.
  • Safaricom (M-Pesa) & Paystack: For processing payments.
  • Telegram: For delivery of creator content and member management.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. Transaction records are kept for the period required by relevant Kenyan financial regulations for auditing purposes.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, update, or request the deletion of your personal data. You can manage most of these settings from your dashboard or by contacting us directly.
